In-home dog boarding is provided in our private residence and is intended for dogs who are comfortable in a calm home environment. Dogs stay as part of our household routine and are not kenneled unless a crate is provided by the owner and its use is requested. This service offers a home-style boarding experience rather than constant supervision or intensive medical or behavioral care, and dogs must be able to be left alone for typical periods during the day and overnight.
Boarding includes access to our secure, fenced yard for regular outdoor time, play, and bathroom breaks.
Guest dogs must be comfortable around other dogs. We have two friendly dogs of our own, and boarding guests must be able to coexist safely in a shared home environment.
Any history of aggression, reactivity, escape attempts, or significant behavioral concerns must be disclosed in advance.
Dogs requiring constant supervision, intensive behavior management, or medical monitoring beyond standard care must be discussed in advance and may require additional fees or alternative arrangements.
Our Manager and Assistant Manager are looking forward to your visit.
Dogs are cared for as part of our household routine. This includes normal periods where dogs may be crated or left alone, consistent with what is typical in a home environment. Owners may provide a crate if their dog is accustomed to using one.
Basic medication administration is available when discussed in advance. Boarding is not intended for intensive medical care, overnight monitoring, or behavior modification.
For the safety of all dogs in our care, the following apply:
Proof of a current rabies vaccination is required (Pennsylvania law).
Dogs must be current on DHPP/DAPP (distemper/parvo) per their veterinarian.
Puppies must be on an age-appropriate DHPP/DAPP schedule.
Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is strongly recommended but not required.
Dogs must arrive healthy and free of signs of contagious illness, including coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or skin irritation.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue care if a dog shows signs of illness or infestation that may pose a risk to other dogs in our home. Our own dogs are fully vaccinated.
Dogs must arrive flea-free. If fleas are discovered during a stay, treatment will be required at the pet owner’s expense. Treatment may include a flea bath and/or a fast-acting oral medication (such as Capstar) to prevent spread in our home.
Clients must provide an emergency contact and veterinarian information prior to boarding.
In the event of a medical emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner and/or emergency contact. If neither can be reached and urgent care is required, we are authorized to seek veterinary treatment at the nearest available clinic. All veterinary expenses remain the responsibility of the pet owner.

Boarding is billed in 24-hour increments based on the original drop-off time, not calendar days. Each boarding day covers care through the same time on the departure day. Extended care charges apply when care extends beyond the original 24-hour billing period. For example, a dog dropped off at 8:00 AM on arrival day is billed as though care extends through 8:00 AM on the departure day, regardless of the actual pickup time.
A grace window is included to allow for flexible pickup without additional charges:
Up to 3 hours beyond the 24-hour period: no additional charge
3–6 hours beyond the 24-hour period: 25% of the nightly rate
6–9 hours beyond the 24-hour period: 50% of the nightly rate
9+ hours beyond the 24-hour period: 75% of the nightly rate
Extended care fees are calculated based on the applicable nightly rate for the stay, including holiday rates when applicable.
Regular stays:
Cancellations within 7 days of the start date forfeit the deposit.
